ESET PROTECT environment cleanup

To avoid potential issues with the ESET PROTECT plugin for ConnectWise Asio deployment and usage, remove old or unused managed devices from your ESET PROTECT environment. Verify that only one ESET Management Agent is installed on your managed devices.

The ESET PROTECT plugin for ConnectWise Asio may run into issues if it detects more than one ESET Management Agent installed on a managed device.

ESET Connect API limitations

The ESET PROTECT plugin for ConnectWise Asio uses ESET Connect API Installer Management to create the ESET security product installer. Currently, there are some limitations when generating an installer via the POST /v1/installers method:

•You cannot specify the components for the installer in the API request. The generated installer contains all the products for which the customer has valid licenses. You can see the products and licenses included in the response.

•When the installer is generated, the response returns the link to download the installer. The default expiration time of the download link and the installer is six months after creation. For example, if you download the installer two months after its creation, it will be valid for the remaining four months. You cannot modify the expiration date.

•Installers created via API are not visible in the ESET PROTECT Web Console.
