Basic setup

You can easily configure specific security settings across the whole network without using policies or dynamic groups. You can configure:

•ESET Security Product

•ESET LiveGuard

•ESET Managed Detection & Response

•ESET Vulnerability & Patch Management

Optionally, you can open the Basic setup from:

•Computers > click the gear Gear icon next to All in Groups > click Set up protection.

•Configuration > Advanced setup > click the Protection - via basic setup policy > click Set up protection.

Note

MSP users can edit only the ESET Security Product and ESET Managed Detection & Response:

In the ESET Security Product, MSP users can edit only the following settings:

•Protect settings and uninstallation with a password

•Set period for automatic start of recommended actions
