Set up custom Permission Sets in ESET PROTECT Cloud
.Open the Web Console in your web browser, and log in.
.Click More > Permission Sets.
.Click New.
.Name the new permission Basic permission for Customer A. Modify the name to fit the name of your customer.
.In the Static Groups section, click Select.
.Select your static group and click OK.
.Click Functionality and select the appropriate access. Review the users and list of permissions sections for more information.
Good practice for working with permissions: •Consider restricting access to Client Tasks > Run Command as it is a powerful task that could be abused. •Non-admin level users should not have permissions for Permission Sets and Mapped accounts. •If a complex permissions model is needed, do not hesitate to create more permission sets and assign them accordingly. |
.Click Finish.
.Click Permission Sets, select the applicable permission and click Actions > Access Group > Move.
.Select the appropriate group and click OK.
.Repeat steps 3-10 for other companies.
