Getting started with ESET PROTECT

ESET PROTECT is out-of-the-box solution for managing ESET security products in your small and medium business network. It represents a new approach, broadening the former ESET on-premises solution and introducing new, more flexible, cloud-based service, hosted and maintained by ESET.

This solution offers immediate use and forgoes the installation and setup steps required by on-premises solutions. ESET PROTECT is built to be easy to deploy and easy to use. This new cloud hosted service comes with a contemporary web-based administration console (ESET PROTECT Web Console), that you can connect to from virtually any location and/or device with a proper internet connection.

The following sections detail ESET PROTECT Web Console features and how to use it. You can create installers and deploy ESET Management Agent and ESET security products on client computers. After ESET Management Agent deployment, you can manage groups, create and assign policies and set up notifications and reports.

Getting started with ESET PROTECT

I am using ESET Business Account

1.Create a new ESET PROTECT instance.

2.Set up ESET PROTECT users in ESET Business Account.

3.Open the ESET PROTECT Web Console. See also ESET PROTECT Tour and ESET PROTECT Web Console overview.

4.Map users from ESET Business Account in ESET PROTECT Web Console.

5.Add client computers on your network to the ESET PROTECT structure.

6.Manage Endpoint products from ESET PROTECT.

I am using ESET MSP Administrator

1.Create a new ESET PROTECT instance.

2.Set up ESET PROTECT users in ESET MSP Administrator.

3.Open the ESET PROTECT Web Console. See also ESET PROTECT Tour and ESET PROTECT Web Console overview.

4.Add ESET MSP Administrator users to ESET PROTECT Web Console during the MSP customer setup.

5.Add client computers on your network to the ESET PROTECT structure.

6.Manage Endpoint products from ESET PROTECT.
