Gamer mode
Gamer mode is a feature for users that demand uninterrupted usage of their software, do not want to be disturbed by notification/alert windows, and want to minimize CPU usage. Gamer mode can also be used during presentations that cannot be interrupted by antivirus activity. By enabling this feature, all notification windows are disabled and the activity of the scheduler will be stopped completely. System protection still runs in the background but does not demand any user interaction.
Enable or disable Gamer mode
To enable or disable Gamer mode, open the main program window and navigate to Setup > Device protection > Gamer mode.
When Gamer mode is enabled, the protection status icon changes to orange to indicate a potential security risk. The main program window also displays the Gamer mode status in orange. |
Gamer mode settings
To configure Gamer mode, navigate to Advanced setup > User interface > Gamer mode.

Multi-monitor full screen applications
Gamer mode is automatically activated when a game or other full screen application occupies the entire display area on one or more monitors. This includes games and simulators running in a borderless full screen window that spans multiple displays, helping prevent interruptions from notifications, scheduled tasks, and scans during use.
Firewall and Gamer mode
If the Firewall uses Interactive mode, connection requests that require user approval cannot be displayed while Gamer mode is active. This may prevent some applications from establishing internet connections.
To avoid connectivity issues:
•Create the required communication rules before enabling Gamer mode.
•Use a different Firewall filtering mode.
•Add the application to the appropriate Firewall rules.
