Browser protection allowlist
The Browser protection allowlist window will display and allow the management of added files. The allowlist is used to create exemptions for files that are not trusted and, therefore, are not loaded into browsers, but are required for certain functionality. The following actions from the Setup > Advanced setup > Protections > Browser protection > Browser protection allowlist > Edit can be performed:
•Add—Add the path to the file to the list.

Blocked untrusted files are also logged in the Log files > Browser protection log, and you can add them to the allowlist directly by right-clicking on the file. |
•Edit—Enables you to edit selected entries.
•Delete—Removes item from the list.
•Import—Imports list in XML format.
•Export—Exports list in XML format.

A conflicting file is typically a module, extension, DLL, or other component that attempts to interact with protected browser processes in a way that Browser protection does not trust. This does not necessarily indicate malware. Security software, browser extensions, accessibility tools, password managers, screen recording software, and other legitimate applications may also trigger this detection. |
