Check the activation status

To verify the activation status and validity, use the lic utility. Execute the following commands as a privileged user:

Syntax: /opt/eset/efs/sbin/lic [OPTIONS]

Example

The commands below must be executed by a privileged user:

/opt/eset/efs/sbin/lic -s

or

/opt/eset/efs/sbin/lic --status

 

Output when the application is activated:

Status: Activated

Subscription code: ABC-123-DEF

Validity: 2030-03-29

 

Output when the product is not activated:

Status: Not activated

If ESET LiveGuard Advanced is activated for the specific instance of ESET Server Security for Linux, the output displays the related subscription details.
