Forgotten password

To reset the Web interface password, open a Terminal window on the machine where ESET Server Security for Linux is installed.

•To generate a new password, run the following command with root privileges:

/opt/eset/efs/sbin/setgui -g

•To define a new password, run the following command with root privileges:

/opt/eset/efs/sbin/setgui --password=PASSWORD

while PASSWORD is supposed to be replaced with the desired password.

Ensure that your password meets the following criteria:

•Minimum number of characters: 14

•One lowercase letter

•One uppercase letter

•One number

•One special character

The final output will show the URL address of the Web interface and access credentials.
