Remote scanning

To protect external ICAP compatible devices/software remotely, enable and configure Remote scanning.

To setup ICAP scanning:

1.In the Web interface navigate to Setup > Detection Engine > Remote Scanning.

2.Turn on the toggle key next to Enable ICAP scanning.

3.Click Edit next to Listen addresses and ports, click Add, define the Listen address and Listen port of ICAP server. Cilck OK, then click Save.

4.Optionally, review and adjust Additional parameters.

5.Optionally, review and adjust ThreatSense parameters.

6.Click Save.

 

To setup ICAPS (ICAP over TLS) scanning:

1.In the Web interface navigate to Setup > Detection Engine > Remote Scanning > ICAPS (ICAP over TLS).

2.Turn on the toggle key next to Enable ICAPS scanning (ICAP over TLS).

3.Click Edit next to ICAPS listen addresses and ports, click Add, define the Listen address and Listen port of ICAPS server. Cilck OK, then click Save.

4.Browse to your Certificate and Private key, only PEM format is supported. If the private key is password protected, type the password into the Private key password field.

5.Optionally, review and adjust Additional parameters.

6.Optionally, review and adjust ThreatSense parameters.

7.Click Save.
