When the computer is in idle state, a silent Device scan is performed on all local drives. Idle-state detection will run when your computer is in the following states:

•Turned off screen or screen saver

•Device lock

•User logoff

Run even if device is powered from battery

By default, the Idle-state scanner will not run when the device (notebook) is operating on battery power.

Enable logging

To record a Device scan output in the Log files section (from the main program window click Log files and select log type Device scan from the drop-down menu).

Modify scan parameters for the Idle-state scanner.
