Welcome to ESET Connect documentation.

ESET Connect is an API gateway between a client and a collection of ESET backend services of the following modules: ESET PROTECT (Cloud), ESET Inspect, and ESET Cloud Office Security.

ESET Connect acts as a reverse proxy to accept all application programming interface (API) calls, aggregate the services required to fulfill them and return the appropriate result.

ESET APIs and future API integrations built on top of the API Gateway will offer the possibility to automate monitoring, security, and administration activities.

Versioning

The ESET Connect gateway provides access to specific API categories.

Each API category follows its own versioning lifecycle, and the End of Life policy applies to individual API category versions. For example, when a new version of the ESET Connect API category is introduced, the previous API category version enters Limited Support and remains available only until its End of Life date.

Changes to an API category may affect API calls within the ESET Connect gateway.
