Notifications

This feature is intended for the administrator of ESET Secure Authentication (ESAC).

What types of notifications are included?

  • Error: If any error occurs that might affect the authentication process.
  • Web Console Login: Each time a console administrator logs in to ESAC Web Console
  • User Locked: Each time a user has been locked due to failed authentication (did not provide correct second authentication factor)
  • User Unlocked
  • License: If the license state changes from OK to anything else

How does it work?

Enable the Notifications feature and select the type and frequency of notifications:

    1. In the ESAC Web Console navigate to Settings > Notifications.
    2. Select Enable notifications.
    3. For Recipient Email Address, enter the email address where the notifications will be delivered.
    4. Select the desired Notification Types.
    5. In the Throttling section, select the frequency of delivering notifications:
  • Immediately: As soon as a selected type of action occurs, a notification email is sent.
  • 10 minutes: If in the past 10 minutes any of the selected type of actions occurred, an email summary will be sent.
  • 1 hour: If in the past 10 minutes any of the selected type of actions occurred, an email summary will be sent.
  • 1 day: Daily summary delivered via email about occurrence of selected types of actions.
    1. Click Save.
