Integration options

Regardless of the selected deployment model (as outlined in Deployment options), integration with the ESET PRIVATE Static Scanning Engine is facilitated via a gRPC API. There are two supported integration approaches:

•Using the ESET Agent–a ready-to-use reference implementation provided by ESET. This method simplifies integration and is detailed in section Using ESET PRIVATE Scanning Solution with ESET Agent..

•Using a custom implementation–in this case, the customer builds their own product integration component to connect directly to the gRPC API of the ESET PRIVATE Static Scanning Engine. Guidance for this approach is provided in the section API.
