Deploying the Scanner Agent

ESET Scanner Agent is distributed as a Docker image hosted in the ESET Azure Container Registry and is therefore designed to run on any host that provides a Docker engine.

The deployment model is intentionally lightweight and portable, so you can run the Scanner Agent on a variety of platforms, including Linux servers, Windows hosts (via Docker Desktop), and even macOS, as long as the target system can run the Docker Engine or Docker‑compatible runtime.
