What's new in ESET Internet Security 16.2

Intel® Threat Detection Technology

This is a hardware-based technology that exposes ransomware as it attempts to avoid detection in memory. Its integration boosts ransomware protection while keeping overall system performance high. See the supported processors.

Dark Mode

This feature allows you to choose a light or dark color scheme for ESET Internet Security Graphical user interface. You can now switch the color scheme in the top right corner of the main program window.

New Firewall rules editor

Firewall rules editor has been redesigned to enable you to define Firewall rules easier with more configuration options.

Improved Banking & Payment Protection

The Secure all browsers mode is now enabled by default on all supported browsers to help you protect your payments, banking transactions, and sensitive data whenever using your favorite browser.

Removed Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 support.

ESET Internet Security 16.2 is supported only on Windows 10 and 11. For more information, see Outdated versions of Microsoft Windows.
