Banking & Payment protection
You can configure the Banking & Payment protection in Advanced setup > Protections > Browser protection > Banking & Payment protection.
Basic
Enable Banking and Payment protection—When Banking and Payment protection is enabled, all supported web browsers will start in a secure mode by default.
Browser protection
Secure all browsers—Start all supported web browsers in a secure mode.
Extension installation mode—From the drop-down menu, you can select which extensions will be allowed to be installed on a browser secured by ESET. Changing the Extension installation mode does not affect previously installed browser extensions:
•Essential extensions—Only the most essential extensions developed by a specific browser manufacturer.
•All extensions—All extensions supported by a specific browser.
Websites redirection
Websites redirection is not available when Secure all browsers is enabled. |
Enable protected websites redirection—If enabled, websites from the protected websites list and internal internet banking list will be redirected to the secured browser.
Protected websites—A list of websites for which you can select which browser (normal or secured) is opened. By default, the informative in-browser notification and the green frame around the browser will be displayed to inform that secure browsing is active. To edit the list, see Protected websites.
Websites redirection is not available for devices with ARM processors. |
Secured browser
Enhanced memory protection—If enabled, the memory of secured browser will be protected from inspecting by other processes.
Keyboard protection—If enabled, the information you type with the keyboard into secured browser will be hidden from other applications. This increases protection against keyloggers.
Browser's green frame—If disabled, the informative in-browser notification and the green frame around the browser will be hidden.
