Last ESET Inspect subscription expiration
This topic describes the following subscription-related scenarios:
•What happens to an ESET Inspect instance before and after the last ESET Inspect-eligible subscription expires.
•What happens after the last ESET Inspect-eligible subscription is removed from ESET PROTECT Hub.
What happens to an ESET Inspect instance before and after the last ESET Inspect-eligible subscription expiration?
When your subscription is close to expiring, an alert will be displayed in the ESET PROTECT Hub interface.
•If the expiration date passes and you have not renewed your subscription or activated a new subscription, the subscription expired alert will be displayed in ESET PROTECT Hub.
•If an eligible subscription is not in place, a notification that your subscription will be suspended in 14 days will be displayed in ESET PROTECT Hub, and you will receive an email at the address specified in your administrator account.
You have a 14-day grace period to renew after your subscription expires. You will be notified in ESET PROTECT Hub and by email halfway through the grace period. After 14 days, your ESET Inspect use will be suspended.
The instance will become inaccessible and non-functional. A suspended ESET Inspect instance will be stored, and can be accessed again by adding a new ESET Inspect-eligible subscription to ESET PROTECT Hub. Your ESET Inspect instance can remain in a suspended state for up to 30 days, after which the instance and all data related to the instance will be deleted permanently.
If your instance enters a suspended state, you will be notified in ESET PROTECT Hub and by email when there are 14 days left before your instance is deleted. You must activate a new, ESET Inspect-eligible subscription to restore access to your ESET Inspect instance.
What happens after the last ESET Inspect-eligible subscription is removed from ESET PROTECT Hub?
If no ESET Inspect-eligible subscriptions are present in ESET PROTECT Hub, your ESET Inspect instance will be suspended.
