If a single sign-on configured user cannot log in to the encryption pre-boot authentication screen using their domain password, have them perform encryption password recovery, then log in to Windows manually and select the Sync ESET Full Disk Encryption and Windows passwords (use single sign-on) check box.

 

Can I add multiple users to single sign-on?

No, EFDE does not support multiple users to single sign-on. Single sign-on of one user is for one computer only.

 

Why does ESET Full Disk Encryption for macOS not have a pre-boot login?

ESET Full Disk Encryption for macOS leverages FileVault2, so it does not require a separate pre-boot login screen. Instead, FileVault2 integrates the decryption process into the standard macOS login, using the user´s regular login credentials to unlock the disk.
