Update

Click Update in the main program window to view the current update status, including the date and time of the last successful update and whether an update is needed.

Regularly updating ESET Endpoint Security is the best method to ensure the maximum security level on your computer. The automatic updates ensure that the program modules and the system components are always up to date. In addition to automatic updates, you can click Check for update to trigger a manual update. In case a product update is available, information about the current and available version is shown along with the update size and release date. To proceed with the product update you need to accept the End User License Agreement and acknowledge the Privacy Policy, you can either Accept & Update Now or Accept & Update on Restart. In order to see more details about the individual product versions, click on the See changelog link.

Last successful update—Shows the date of the last successful update. If you do not see a recent date, your product modules may not be current.

Last check for update—Shows the date of the last successful check for updates.

To modify advanced ESET Endpoint Security Update settings, open Application Preferences by using cmd+, or click ESET Endpoint Security in the macOS menu bar and select Preferences (Settings). If your ESET Endpoint Security is managed, you can configure advanced update settings remotely with ESET PROTECT On-Prem or ESET PROTECT.
