Known issues
C:\ProgramData\ESET\eRMMI\bin\ermmi.exe file may cause issues with ESET Direct Endpoint Management plugin for Datto RMM
If you encounter problems with ESET Direct Endpoint Management plugin for Datto RMM, delete: C:\ProgramData\ESET\eRMMI\bin\ermmi.exe. If issues persist, delete any values in the following registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ESET\ESET RMM Plugin.
Language support on server products
There are known limitations on the ESET server products when used with non-English languages. These mostly revolve around the formatting of logs; however, may extend to other areas. Please report issues if you encounter them.
Existing version 6 and earlier Windows endpoints must be configured to be managed by ESET Direct Endpoint Management plugin for Datto RMM
If you have Windows endpoints version 6 and earlier that were installed before using the ESET Direct Endpoint Management plugin for Datto RMM, various settings must be configured manually for the components to work properly. If an ESET product was previously installed on a component, perform an uninstall product task and then reinstall the product. Verify all ESET endpoints are running version 6.6 or later.
•Endpoints: From the configuration, click Tools > ESET RMM. Toggle Enable RMM to On, Working mode to All Operations, and Authorization Method to Application Path. Edit the Application Paths to include, C:\ProgramData\ESET\eRMMI\bin\ermmi.exe.
•Server: From the configuration, click User Interface > ESET Shell. Update the ESET Shell execution policy to Full access.
