Ransomware Shield

Ransomware Shield is a security feature that protects your device from ransomware. When a suspicious application or file that behaves like ransomware is detected during a device scan, a notification appears recommending that you uninstall the application or delete the file. ESET LiveGrid® must be enabled for Ransomware Shield to function properly. To do so, open Advanced Settings and enable ESET LiveGrid®. Note

In case the screen of your TV is locked, you can trigger the device scan using your TV remote. Turn the TV off and on again twice within 10 seconds, and ESET Smart TV Security will run a scan, protecting your device from any ransomware threats.
